Our exploration of the nature and impact of end-of-life experiences has provided us with insight that we are using to help bring dignity and comfort to the dying process for our patients and their caregivers. We have hundreds of hours of recorded video featuring individual patients discussing their end-of-life experiences. Here is a small sampling of those videos and an accompanying document describing each case.
Paul and Diane
This video was taken three weeks before Paul’s death. Very typical — vivid, easily recalled, focused on a lost loved one. Little is said between dreamer and person on the dream, but everything is felt and understood. Travel themes are quite common. These experiences do not deny the reality of death but transcend it and most importantly they validate the life lead. What is noticeable in all videos is the absence of fear!
Our Mission
